Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong Was right!

He fulfilled the prophecy of the end time Elijah spoken of in the book Malachi. He was a voice crying out in the wilderness of modern day religious confusion, God used him to restore the basic foundational doctrines taught by Jesus Christ to the Apostles.  What H.W.A. taught was Truth!  Click  "PLAY" below  (Sermon by Ronald W. Dear Friend:

We live in a very stressful world today. Seems with all the innovations of our modern society we never have a chance to meditate on the wonders of God, and His great love for us.  I remember when I was a child I would visit my grandfather, and after supper, we would sit on his back porch. He would light his pipe, pour a large class of wine, and just stare out into his garden. He was content with the world. He lived a long healthy life, passing away at 95.

This hectic life we live today is another of the signs that we are coming closer to the end of this Church age as prophesied in the Bible. "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."  Dan 12:4. We may be living in a dangerous time if we have become so worried about the physical, that we have lost that close contact with our creator.

God warned us to remember that He is our provider. Our physical effort can only provide so much of our needs without us becoming so stressed working to keep up with the all the items we long for in this life. God says, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?" Matt 6:25. He tells us not to be overly concerned about striving for worldly needs. "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin" Matt 6:28. God claims He takes care of His children's needs, if we just put Him first in our lives, and all will be well. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you". Matt 6:31-33.

If we remember who supplies our daily bread, the clothes that we wear, the homes we live in, and especially our good health and wellbeing, then the stress of life will not be so overwhelming. So as to not cause us unhappiness that keeps us distracted from all the Creator provides us. This worry produces stress by always lusting for more and more, which , in the end, causes us concern, but not happiness. We must know who it is that provides for us, and never forget that or we will live a life of constant anxiety. God promises us all we need for a truly happy life if we are looking to Him for the abundant life. "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19.

It all depends on our priorities in life. Laodiceans are rich and increased with goods, because that is their main goal in life. Philadelphian's main priority must be the truth of God, and then those things that are really important will be provided them. If your priorities are right with God, He will provides everything your heart desires. "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart." Ps 37:4. We can get so busy "getting", that we may forget to give to our Father His time. It is the Father that provides for His family. We may work so hard to fulfill our needs we forget to take time to sit down in our rocking chair, on our back porch, and spend some time talking to God about our real needs. Taking time with God getting our mind of all our massive list of wants. God will always provide for those who are His children, never forget that. The Psalmist writes, "I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread." Ps 37:25.

  1. LOVE IS... being willing to have your life complicated by the needs and struggles of others without impatience or anger.
  2. LOVE IS... actively fighting the temptation to be critical and judgmental toward another while looking for ways to encourage and praise.

  4. LOVE IS... being lovingly honest and humbly approachable in times of misunderstanding.

  6. LOVE IS... a making a daily commitment to admit your sin, weakness, and failure and to resist the temptation to offer an excuse or shift the blame.
  7. LOVE IS... being willing, when confronted by another, to examine your heart rather than rising to your defense or shifting the focus.
  8. LOVE IS... making a daily commitment to grow in love so that the love you offer to another is increasingly selfless, mature, and patient.
  9. LOVE IS... being unwilling to do what is wrong when you have been wronged, but looking for concrete and specific ways to overcome evil with good.
  10. LOVE IS... being a good student of another, looking for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs so that in some way you can remove the burden, support them as they carry it, or encourage them along the way.
  11. LOVE IS... being willing to invest the time necessary to discuss, examine, and understand the relational problems you face, staying on task until the problem is removed or you have agreed upon a strategy of response.

  18. LOVE IS... a commitment to say no to selfish instincts and to do everything that is within your ability to promote real unity, functional understanding, and active love in your relationships.
  19. LOVE IS... staying faithful to your commitment to treat another with appreciation, respect, and grace, even in moments when the other person doesn’t seem deserving or is unwilling to reciprocate.
  20. LOVE IS... the willingness to make regular and costly sacrifices for the sake of a relationship without asking for anything in return or using your sacrifices to place the other person in your debt.
  21. LOVE IS... being unwilling to make any personal decision or choice that would harm a relationship, hurt the other person, or weakens the bond of trust between you.
  22. LOVE IS... refusing to be self-focused or demanding, but instead looking for specific ways to serve, support, and encourage, even when you are busy or tired.
  23. LOVE IS... daily admitting to yourself, the other person, and God that you are unable to be driven by a cruciform love without God’s protecting, providing, forgiving, rescuing, and delivering grace.
